Upstanding adult: Hello, officer? I’d like to report something.

Cop: Go ahead.

Upstanding adult: I live in a suburban neighborhood…

Cop: Alright.

Upstanding adult: Well we have this community swimming pool.

Cop: Alright.

Upstanding adult: And there were some teenagers.

Cop: What were these teenagers doing?

Upstanding adult: What? Oh, I don’t know, they were just sort of near it.

Cop: Near the swimming pool?

Upstanding adult: Yes. And I believe one of them was laughing.

Cop: Did you witness these teenagers committing any crime?

Upstanding Adult: No, but I’m assuming they are all on drugs.

Cop: Alright, we’re sending out our most violent and unpredictable officer. 

Upstanding adult: Tell him to bring a gun.

Cop: The safety is already off.
